Westside CARES

Westside CARES provides four-day food baskets each weekday to community members in need. With designated locations and operating hours, individuals can easily access the help they require. Serving areas west of I-25, south of the Air Force Academy, east of the El Paso/Teller County Line, and north of Fort Carson, Westside CARES creates a supportive environment for those within their service area. Mercy’s Gate

Mercy's Gate offers an emergency 3-day food supply through its food pantry, where individuals can choose items with assistance from dedicated volunteers. Operating on select days, the pantry also provides paper products and personal items. To ensure fair distribution, Mercy's Gate conducts lottery drawings at specific times, with registration required for selected households. Eligible for El Paso County residents, this service supports those in need with dignity and respect.
